My Ride: 2006 530xi. alpine white, black leather, 6 speed. mtech kit.
thinking of getting a sprintbooster on a 2006 530xi. Just wondering if it is worrth it on a manual trans car. Ive heard great stuff about it on auto trans but wondering if anyone has it on a 6 inline and whether it makes that much of a diff. Thanks.

I have an 06 530Xi sport stick with the SB. Never took it off, recommend it to anyone who asks, even help with installs as much as I can...

Yes, Vlad swears by his as do tons of members with manual transmissions.
I have read on these forums that the SB made for the MT sends an even stronger throttle amplification signal than the auto trans SB does.

I've been wondering the same thing. I've been thinking about putting this on my 6 spd 545. My concern has been that it wouldn't really make a noticeable difference in a MT car because the coordination between left and right foot is what determines throttle response. So you guys feel it is a noticeable difference? Any downside to installing this in your car (ie harder to engage clutch smoothly, etc)?

Eventually your coordination will adjust to the response of the SB.
But, it's there and available when you mash that pedal

I have the auto SB on my 6MT, works great. The reason I went with the auto one and not the manual one is because I've heard from different people that the manual one is a little jerky and so with the auto one its a little less aggressive and nicer for driving in heavy stop and go traffic.
