It's the usb cable for my Cobra radar detector remote. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to keep it there. Normally I place my GPS there when I go on trips.

My Ride: SOLD...Jet Black 2008 550i M Sport with SAT, black interior. RPI exhaust and air scoop, 35% huper optik tint all around, CF roundels, flat black kidneys, Springfield Armory XD-40 jet black in glove box, charcoal filter removed.

Nice! I decided to put mine up on the horizontal flat surface above the ashtray, all the way to the left. I had mine down where yours is, but my leg would rub against and change it once in awhile so I had to move it up.
