Hi,

Just now installed Sprint Booster in my 2006 525i Automatic. I got the following warnings:

- ENGINE MALFUNCTION !! REDUCED POWER
- TRANSMISSION ERROR!
- IDRIVE SYSTEM ERROR!

I also did Transmission Reset method: Turn Key until lights turn on -> Press and hold Pedal for 25s -> Release Pedal -> Turn Key to OFF -> Turn Key to ON and Start Engine.

Just now tried to drive car around the block, basically cannot raise accelerator.. It just stays in 1000K RPM no matter how deep you press the pedal

Is the SPRINT BOOSTER I got is faulty or am I missing some steps ??

A mechanic can reset that error with their computer. Glad you like the SB, P! It's about damn time you got your hands on one.

I read on the fourm that after 200miles on the SB the engine malfunction will go away completely. I just wanted to see if that is true with coolguy's situation and want updates.

Why wait? Just have your local mechanic reset it. Will cost you nothing and takes about...30 seconds.
