2 words....GET IT! Unless you've remapped the ECU, you will notice a MAJOR difference in how the car pulls and the throttle response. It's a great mod. There's no need for the lead foot and even with the lead foot, the SB makes it even better. Don't think...just buy. You'll thank me/us later.

BTW C's Bimmer...what a gorgeous ride. What tint grade or % is that?

Thanks

sorry I fell asleep at work when typing the last 1.
what I was meant to say is
if people think on what they what to do or buy for a long time they will loss out.
just like the British army you dont have time to think, just do it, if you think your dead.
In HK itis the same for work if you think too long some 1 will beat you at it and you will become a losser.

So dont think about it just get it and have fun.

uh ... what ?

It's a car part, it improves throttle response, no need to really start talking about British soldiers dying is there??!

You may aswell have said "Get a Sprint Booster, because cheese burgers are nice, and my shoes are black"

From my brief spell in the RAF Regiment It is certainly true in a fire fight that you need to act decisively and that hesitation is a no no, so I think I know what you were saying.

Given the choice however between being shot at and thinking about buying a sprint booster in the comfort of your own home, I know what I would choose!

Regards,

Thanks for the thoughts. 1 other important question - Where is the best place to get it? This guy on Ebay "partsexporter" has them for $280 + $20 for shipping. Has anyone bought from this seller? Thanks!
This is where we got it from. When I say "we", there was a Group Buy that one of the other members on this forum organized through this exact seller (partsexporter). We got it for $250 shipped. The seller is amazing. Let me put it to you this way... I ordered it on a Friday afternoon, late in the day. I had it in my office on Monday morning, first thing. Did I mention the seller is in Hong Kong and I am in NYC?! It was sent via some Asian courier service that put Fed Ex and UPS to shame. Hahahaha! Furthermore, he was very responsive on email and provided tracking as soon as he shipped it. His name is Andy. Try and tell him you're an E60.net member. See if he'll still give you the $250 price. It's worth a shot.

There's actually the NY E60 Dinner/Meet tomorrow night in Lower Manhattan. Member slickrick will be there with his 535. I'm thinking about taking mine out and popping it into his car and see what the difference is. Will let you know.
