Probably won't happen but I just don't want the remote possibility of it. You know how some dealers are, trying to find any excuse they can find to get away with it. So in the end, it is for that peace of mind...

A few comments:
1) You use an allen wrench to remove that little bolt, not a torx wrench.
2) I usually take mine out before any service work at the dealers just so that a) they don't accidently slam my car into something cause of the more sensitive throttle and b) so that they don't use it as an excuse to blame problems with the car from the SB.
3) There was a guy on MBworld I think that did extensive testing with the SB and proved that it didn't make any difference in 0-60 or 1/4 miles times but hey, everyone admits it NOTICEABLY improves throttle response. I have it on my M5 even though I also have a software remap.
4) I had a friend that recently bought one and at first he didn't like it but I asked him to give it a week. A month later he said he loved it and would never take it off. haha

wassup guyz
i also installed my sb this weekend. Jcool sold me his (good seller btw! )
i know this thing works, especially at highway speed. passing is waaaaaay to easy now. it is throttle on demand.
my issue is regular street driving. i do still feel some hesitation after stopping, not all the time but occasionally. i thought it would completely disappear. i did do the tranny reset, but still....
my question is: will it take a few miles to drive before hesitation is gone for tranny to "learn?" sometimes it feels like a i just got tapped in the rear at a stop sign.
*note* to me it feels like the tranny reset w/o the sb did a better job eliminating lag ( not entirely though). any advice guyz i would appreciate. Thanx

Regardless, it's a great mod. I couldn't live without it for my 2007 530 and I can't live without it for my M. I'm now looking to buy one for my X5.
