Default Springs Eibach or H&R

My OEM springs are shot to the point my car looks lowered. I love the look but the stability during dips sucks. I want to add springs to keep a similar look but will handle the dips better. I have the OEM 124's with 20mm spacers on the rear. There is a rubbing now on dips but prior to the springs weakening there was no rubbing at all. I'm looking at the following options. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

H&R OE sport springs .25-.75 average lowering

H&R Sport springs 1.5 - 1.8 average lowering

Eibach Pro kit performance springs 1.2 lowering

since you have sport package, the H&R sport springs would actually lower you about 0.6" (on a V8 model it should be 1.3" front and 1.2" rear) and the eibachs would lower you about 0.5" all around, since the measurements are off of a standard model. between the 2, eibachs would ride the closest to stock feel.

I´m considering the same mod (BMW 530xd LCI). The rear should be fine, but as I have non-x-drive 124´s, which have a different offset in comparison to x-drive´s which are about 34 or so, I´m a bit worried.Originally the 124 front rims have an offset of about 20, mine are modified. I got the centre grinded down, so mine have an offset of about 28 right now, but the wheels are guite in line with the front fenders. I would like to go with the H&R lowering kit (35mm in the front as well as back). So my queston is, do you think this little difference in the original offset and my current offset would be a problem? I tried to measure it somehow with a straight stick and I think it´s going to be ok, but what are your opinions? The difference between the two offsets (original 34) and my offset (28) is just 6mm. Btw...those lower springs are stiffer as well, aren´t they? So even if I get the suspension lower, the track on which the wheels move towards the fender while damping won´t change, or will they? The difference should be just a lower position while in normal position or standstill. Am I right? Thank you

The Eibach Pro Kit Springs for your E60 550 is going to give you closest feel and look to the OEM setup. It provides a slightly more aggressive and raked stance than your stock suspension while still maintaining a comfortable ride. They will also fit your E60's stock shocks and are a great and affordable way to increase handling while giving your vehicle a lower stance.

Check out a recent install we completed on a customers E60 M5 and his feedback!

I did Eibachs with Koni FSD's on my 05 545i sport. Rides very close to stock. The biggest difference is the rear of the car is quite a bit lower. Car now has a much more flat stance, slightly lower than sport springs. Very happy with setup on my DD.

Both are great, but I prefer the stance on the H&Rs.

Question, will the Eibach springs be as firm as the OEM sport springs? I don't want a bouncy ride in feel or appearance.

I have H&R sport springs with stock non-sport suspenion for 4 years now.

Ride is getting harsher for sure compare to before.
