Now the question is, if you get replicas, they come in CF so will you paint it or leave it?

if he goes cf, he's going to need to go cf throughout...cf mirror covers, decklid, etc...

Yep. haha

That's why part of me wants to switch out my splitter and diffuser for something CF since I have CF vents and mirror covers.

Good choice john, I love the Hartge splitter for the M5 and the color combo your getting is going to look freakin sick!

ACS with those hinges in the front is too much. Just too gimicky. I'm a Hartge fan, but you already knew that.

Have you considered Vorsteiner? Just throwing it out there as an another viable option

Vorsteiner VRS E60 M5 2-Piece Carbon Fiber Add On Splitters[7733 BMV]

Vorsteiner E60 M5 Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser [7735 BMV]

Or maybe RD sport?
RD Sport Carbon Kevlar Front Lip Add-On for the E60 M5 [121 12 60 200]

RD Sport Carbon Kevlar Rear Diffuser Add-On for the E60 M5 [121 52 60 200]

Just IMHO, I don't like either the Hartge or ACS.
