It is math.... calculate how much you pay the gas in one year. It would save you about 500-700 bucks.
About the Performance it is hard to notice. Can you notice a 1-5 HP gains? not.

Alot of people "felt" an increase when they first installed the aFe kit because they had spent $$ on it. Make sure there really is a difference and not your money letting your imagination run wild lol

I think it's possible to get 60-90km more range with the right temperatures and driving habits even without these but I agree 1-5hp gain is not noticeable....I've haven't felt anything from the RPI scoop

I'm getting wary of HP claims with manufacturers copyright at the bottom. so maybe I'll look at the Denso IK20, only about $8 a pop...
