Anyone done this with 124s? How big were the spacers? Pics?

I am trying to get a slightly more aggressive stance. I have decided not to purchase wheels. I was originally going to do it in september, but I really dont want to spend more the $1200, and I am just not finding the right used wheel deal. I am cool with the 124s, but I am interested in widening the cars stance...

Thoughts? I didnt find any threads or pics of stock wheels w/spacers....

spacers will definetly improve the look. i'm not sure what the recommended thickness is though.

for the 124s we've put 5mm in front and 15mm in the rear before.

I've been considering doing this as well. Have also been wondering if the additional width is enough to make a perceptible change in the lateral stability. It isn't a bit change in track width...so perhaps not...but certainly an inexpensive thing to try if you get any improvement at all.

I was thinking this also but for my 17" 138's, they are my winter setup and look bad compared to the summer wheels. But I'm not sure what it will look like and how big of spacers I should use. I think they are ET20 all the way around, would I only be able to fit 5mm spacers front and back?

you would probably need to have a lil more drop to make it look right but it would look pretty badass actually

spacers are great tools for adding that flush or aggressive stance

If I drop it any more its going to start getting hard to drive in the winter, we get quite a bit of snow up here.

you would be fine with spacers since you already have a good size drop
