I have the stock 545 wheels but i don't like how the back wheels are in so much. there is room to move them out. i am wondering if anyone has added spacers. if so let me know.

Brian,

I had spacers on the first set of wheels I bough. The car look perfect but unfortunatelly the wheel size did not. So no I have 19s but the offset on the rear is a bit in (for my taste) not as much as the factory (yours). I called H&R and they recommended me a distributor in relation to my zip code. I call the distributor and they are offerring 10, 12 & 15mm for our cars. He quoted me something like $70 for the set. I'm planning on getting the 10mm so that will make my rear offset (same as yours but my wheels are 9.5" wide) 0f 22 to a 12. My calculations will make the tire to be about 3/4 inch to the inside of the fender lip.

If I have sometime this week I will order them and place pictures...right now I'm in a meeting all day

Won't spacers negatively effect the handling?

I don't think a small size spacer will. Anyway I called H&R and now they say they don't make one yet for the E60. Speaking with the tech guy, we discovered the spacers of the E46 may fit the E60. The hib is the same 72.5mm and the bore is 5x120mm. He is re-checking and willcall me tomorrow. I will keep you updated.
