I only think I need spacers in the front.? the front looks ok to me..

Newwyll...you're sure I won't have any rubbing in the back with 15mm spacers?

Thanks for the help!

I am running 15mm H&R spacers on the rear with my 128s & M172s (both have ET32).

This set-up was also on my E61 Touring, which has less space in the rear due to the air suspension. The set-up was formally tested and approved for road use in Germany by T?V (the official German testing authority). This included putting the car up on a ramp to inspect the amount of space, a drive test for rubbing, and paper based check that the wheel-size / tyre-size / max-weight were still within the safety limits of the car. It passed them all without any issues.

You basically cannot get much more confirmation than that!!
So you can choose between 10-15mm with confidence and it simply comes down to the look you want

Thanks for the info! Would you use any spacers up front? If so what size? I dont want it to look to "blown" out. What sizes do you recommend for the 172's front and back?

Thanks for all the help! Also, what brand is the way to go?

I never did spacers on the front and personally don't see the need to fit them.
My advice: Just fit the rear spacers and then decide if it already gives you the look you want

I would start by throwing 15mm spacers on the rear and see how you like the look.

We recommend Macht Schnell spacers, which are hubcentric and include extended wheel studs.

Nerweezy,

I can't figure out how to PM with the new look of the sight now.

I asked before but don't remember - how much for the 15mm spacers in the rear for my 2008 550i sports package with stock 172's? and how much for the fronts at the recommended size?

I'm ready to purchase now.

Thanks!

I decided to order Macht Schnell (sp?) 12mm spacers for the rear..

I really wanted black in color, so this was the way to go.

Will post pics once I get them installed.
