There is some mis-information being spread around about spacers and torque. Let's put this in perspective. The e60 M5 has 383 ft-lb torque which is a higher torque # than the 550i. I know a few M5 owners using spacers who never gave it any thought on putting on spacers. None have worried that spacers will be damaged by the torque. So, let's put the spacers and "high" torque concern to rest shall we b/c there is none.
