Hello Gentlemen ~
Im in the market for some rear spacers , I want to push these babies outward.
I really want to go with the 15mm spacer.
what brand spacer would you recommend?
what type of lug nut would I need in order to have a safe amount of thread on the stud?

2) BMW uses bolts on the wheel, rather than nuts and studs. This will make it easier to get the correct length.

My Ride: 535d Sport, carbon black, media pack, visibility pack, grey leather, heated seats, sun protection glass, voice control, Eibach ProKit, 19" 166 style wheels, e-maps ECU remap to 325hp and 640NM, top speed limiter removed
As andy said, SCC make excellent spacers (in Germany) and the H&R ones are excellent, too.
You would ideally need bolts 15mm longer. M12x1.5, 60 degree tapered head, best with a 17 nut fitting. Iirc, standard thread length is just under 27mm, so you'll be looking at 42mm thread length on the bolts.
For a safe fastening, a minimum of 6.5 turns of the bolt is recommended.

I totally forgot that bmw uses bolts that go into the hub , lol...

I picked up H&R spacers and bolts and put them on a short while ago. Do a search on spacers and you should find my post. Anyway, I used 12mm spacers and 43mm extended bolts, swapped the front bolts to match.

i remember some members having Ichiba spacers . Youll need the longer bolts which they also carry, and thier spacers are hubcentric. They are located in socal

spacers are spacers really. the most popular brands are like the springs that people get indecisive with, between eibach and H&R. vt used ichiba spacers when he had his 166s. for my 128s, i used 15mm spacers for them to be flushed with the rear fenders, since the previous offset was ET32. for the spacers, it all depends on what offset you have and what offset you desire to have. i remember coming across a thread earlier, there's a member selling his 12mm eibach spacers.
