Hi guys,
The scumbag dealer (Formula Prestige) that I purchased my 530i from did not supply the spare, jack, crank, wheel tray, nuts etc. Does anyone have a photo or page from a service manual of these items so that I can try to source them?
Thanks.

Hi Matt,
Do you get the spare wheel etc as standard in Oz??
As we all have runflats, the spare wheel and kit is an optional extra (apart from the cars with 16" wheels)
BMW does a kit comprising wheel, tray, jack, spanner, chocks etc. I understand from REalOEM that the part number is 36110308889
This is listed at 289 US Dollars, but I think that it is nearer 180 GB Pounds here.
I am a cheapskate, so I got a new wheel and tyre from my local tyre supplier at 80 GBP. I have a 5 GBP extending wheel spanner, and I modified a jack from a Vauxhall Omega to use - The jack has a plastic top that, if you cut of about a quarter of an inch each side, fits nicely into the jack recess on the car' sill. No doubt Holden will have something similar!

What size wheel/tyre did you get? Is it a space saver?
Also, did you just get the jack out of an old Omega down the scrap yard?
The price BMW is charging is madness.

Thanks for posting the picture. Extremely helpful.
Matt.
Hi AlwynMike,
Hope your well mate, been after a space saver for ages also as I'm currently driving round without a spare and got rid of the runflats last year. Just waiting for the 1st puncture and i'm in big trouble!!!! I tried to put my original 17" five star alloys in as a spare but the recess is far too small for a full sized alloy and tyre. What did you actually fit in yours?
Cheers pal,
Buckers,
P.s
Did you ever get any wood trim sorted for yrs in the end???

I've been looking into this as I want a space saver so I can get rid of the run flats. I had been trying to get one of ebay but your idea is sounding better.

Can't remember without looking at the wheel size, but it is the standard BMW Space Saver. the wheel is a genuine one - it has the BMW roundel and the part numbers match with RealOEM. the tyre was a Continental. I got it from my local tyre dealer, but I don't know where he got it from - the wheel and tyre were new! I know that the wheel is different from the E46 3 series one.
I got the jack from a scrap Carlton - one that my mate had.
Have a look at the pictures on Post #10 of the following thread:

Mine is like "A"
Hi Buckers;
Yes, I got some Light Poplar trim (which is quite dark!) and fitted it some time ago - it came with "extra" bits for the rear ashtray console and the cubby hole area that wasn't "metal" on mine. It came with black door handles, but I bought new beige ones to match the rest of the car - ?6 each IIRC. Got the trim from a member on here from Cyprus.
Not doing as many miles as I was because I've changed my job and I'm flying up to Aberdeen now instead of driving - it makes a difference! Just need to stop these Super Puma's from dropping out of the sky
- Yes I do fly in them.Mike

BMW call it a "emergency wheel" (we all know it as a spacesaver), code is BM-36116758778 (rim only - need to add a Conti or Bridgestone tyre). Tyre spec is T 135 80R17 102M, rim is 4J 17. I have made enquiries on new and second hand and they are available, you kust need to spend some time making calls and sending emails. Let me know if you want the individual codes for all the other parts that come in the "kit". I've also got hold of a pdf with exploded view of the parts, if you need it send me your email address.
