Well, I just had the car debadged, looks cleaner, but now there is that "lovely" trunk key hole.

I seem to remember seeing something about a plug that could be modified to cover it, and might also like to cover the Drivers door keyhole also. Obviously it would need to be removable incase the battery dies.

Any information would be appreciated.

Iceman.

Didn't you post on another thread about BMW not selling M5 parts except to owners of M5 with VIN verification?

I want that trunk piece also, but it sounds like that won't be easy.

The butt hole where the license plate goes attracts dirt and is a little unsightly. This is much cleaner. Is there a version that will take a North American sized plate? The picture looks like it only fits the Euro plate.

From the diagram, it looks like part number 16 could be a US plate adapter. It looks like there are four holes in the right places to allow the plate to be attached, etc.

Question is... is part 21 the same one in the photo? The photo looks euro only.
Anybody?

According to the parts cd the part number for US spec cars is 51138030419

There is no price available due to the car not being available yet.
