the active stabilization is for the bottom half of the car and the UR tower bar is for the top so it is boxed in
They design this just to make more money and active stabilization is computer control and not that good on track.
any thing that has computer to control the car is not good for track.
5th gear has proven this on a GTR.

I had to modify the stock suspension, sacrificing comfort for performance. Manufacturers tend to produce products that are fit for the street. BMW balances comfort along with performance to satisfy their target demographic. A track vehicle is the complete opposite, zero comfort all performance. A strut bar would make the stock vehicle too stiff for the majority of E60 drivers, thus BMW does not provide one for you.
you should get the M5 bars for your car or install the UR 1s if they fit.

thats easy.
1 is for the front end and the other is for the rear end of the car.
if you just have 1 and not other the car will not be = and out of balance

for active roll stabilization there will be a big cilinder in the middle of the sway bar and that will be in the way to install the rear 1 but the front 1 will be OK

They work. Wether it is just feeling or true performance. All you have to do is get one and put it on. If you like it keep it. If not, use it as a cane. Who cares.

Next slide please.

also the bar is for safety too as non of you guys mention
