Hope it all works out....but I would have insisted he paid out of his pocket. There is no way I would have claimed it against my insurance policy. It may jeopardize your coverage when it's time to renew. Now every insurance company will know that you had a 'loss' no matter if you were not at fault. Your premium may not go up, but they may dump you. Just FYI for everyone.

sorry to see this. I know how it feels, same happened to me when i was younger. i had brand new car (fixed it up with some wheels and audio), and i let one girl test drive it when she asked.. she crashed it into my office building. i got fired, had to pay for the building, for palm tree. but insurance fixed the car.. since then i never let anyone drive expect my wife. and even when wife drives it i am nervous all the time.

feel so bad for you. especially m5.. hope you can play around with insurance and may be get some money back for some mods. good luck!

Hey guys thanks for all the support! The car is getting fixed @ eurorev and bastoli through my insurance. The guy who was driving my car is a great guy and is definitely not a jackass. He has been in constant contact with me through the entire process, as well as Kuya Al aka leggomysakyo. Thanks to kuya John and P'Tom for all the advice.

I'm just glad nobody was injured and the car is going to be fixed asap. Once the insurance adjuster gets the estimate done, we'll know if the car is totalled or not. Let's keep our fingers crossed. again thank you to all the members, kuya Al, p'Tom, kuya John, weezy, pjinca, Joe, E, Kenny, Eddie, sorahb and all the fellas.

Thanks kuya Dee and John! It's times like these that the most valuable and humbling lessons are learned. I used to put so much value in my car, but in a blink of an eye it nearly disappeared and possibly my life. Thank God nobody was seriously injured or hurt. Sadly the m5 is just a car which can be replaced. On the otherhand, our health and well being cannot.
