I took the OEM 18" wheels and put Michelin Pilot A/S tires for winter driving. I put 19" BBS wheels with Goodyear F1 GS-D3 tires on for spring/summer/fall driving. When I return the car, it will be with the OEM wheels and the Michelins. I'll put the BBS wheels on my M5 for spring/summer/fall driving, and I'll use the OEM M5 wheels for my winter tires. I was suprised at how easy it was to sell the (slightly used) runflats on ebay.

How much should I expect to receive if I list my OEM tire/wheel set on ebay? Mine are 16" style 134 with 5K miles. Would $550 plus shipping be a good price?

i think it depends on the condition. you sure want to see how much others listed on ebay before you put it on. if not too much, might as well save them for winter tires like other members do.

Thanks alohalc,

I quoted the wheels on the website you posted on the other thread (http://www.bmwwheels.com/)
It comes around $950 and thats only for the wheels.

I don't have the need to switch tires in the winter but thanks for the suggestion.
Could not find any on ebay.

you are welcome . if nothing on ebay and your set is in almost new condition, you can always ask for more. but you also have to aware the other oem sets. people will compare yours to the others. so i think you can use $9.95 as starting bid but w/a reserve, probably $5-600. people like to bid this way more than using "buy it now". good luck .

i'm guessing one wheel and tire is about 50lbs. if w/i the states, surface by usps will be around $150-200. but by air will be about $350 :'(.
