Got a chance to meet up with SoCalM5Mang during the holidays and check out the new quad exhaust setup on his 2008 E60 550i. This thing growls like a beast under WOT and is subdued at normal driving speeds.

Wow...sounds good with the windows closed.
I'm not sure what volume level I should set on my PC to replicate the actual sound level when the windows are closed, but if you can put up with that annoying narrow range rpm, more power to you.
Get back with me when you want to eliminate or further minimize the low rpm drone. That's sweet looking ride, too. I see those guys got your diffuser completed.
I just noticed those exhaust tips are resonated too.

Wow, those remus canisters do a pretty good job. I can hear the droning starting at 1500 rpm and dying around 2000 rpm for sure. After that, sweet music!!!

Drop the 411 on what you would do to minimize the drone? I kinda like it. It's not that noticeable--- in all honesty.
Guys---Mad Props to Ryan for his work. If any of you want a professional quality video and exhaust clips done, look him up. He is awesome to work with and a super editor.
I was hoping for some more comments from many of you. It sounds SICK!
Anybody around LA who wants to hear it, let me know and we can meet up. Triple AAA has really perfected their work with 5 Series and X-Pipe. I would recommend them to anybody now.
Thanks to all who pointed me in their direction originally.
Next up: the Carbon Fiber Diffuser, Carbon Fiber Hamann front lips and H&R Race Springs.
