Hard to tell from the picture if they are the same size and shape, but if so maybe the SMG badge from the 545 shifter to be popped out and used t o replace the M badge.

They are not the same, since the M shifter is illuminated...

Ya I noticed that... maybe If I just dont hook up the illumination part? Guess we'll find out when the M5s out.

How long will we have to wait? Or would an m3 smg shift knob fit on the e60's, if so i'll consider doing the mod.
