Slammed E60
Man that is so ghetto. =\ Whenever I see a car like that I automatically come to the following conclusions:
1) Young kid
2) Not educated
3) Broke and can't really afford the car
4) Bought it used
5) Lives with parents
1) Young kid

2) Young - I agree with to a certain extent, I think that slammed is maybe a 'younger person's' taste, same with CF parts.
3) It costs quite a bit for the air suspension so don't think he can be broke, but may live at home and has more disposable income for his car.
4) In Europe the tax on cars is a lot so most likely it is used.
5) I'm not arguing with you, just defending a fellow European
I consider myself young to be owning an E60 and I wish I lived at home like many of my friends do, but I moved out when I was 20 and have been independent ever since and I am proud to be able to say, yes I bought an E60 myself and yes it is second hand (wish I could buy brand new) and I consider myself educated. If I had the money right now, my car would be slammed (not as low as this though) on coilovers and 20s. I will get there slowly.Summary: Everybody has different tastes.

My Ride: SOLD...Jet Black 2008 550i M Sport with SAT, black interior. RPI exhaust and air scoop, 35% huper optik tint all around, CF roundels, flat black kidneys, Springfield Armory XD-40 jet black in glove box, charcoal filter removed.
Car itself looks good - the drop, especially the way your can't see the enitre wheel lip in the back, is hideous to me.

I think it looks legit. It's air ride, I doubt he rides like that. I like the 3rd 4th and 6th pictures down. Not what I would do, but not bad either.
To the OP, this is not really about European vs American tastes. There are lots of cars dropped like that here as well. The air suspension movement is growing tremendously especially in the Audi/VW scene. That said, I personally think the look doesn't fit the E60.
