So I just got my new M3 CSL wheels, but they didn't come with the M stickers on the wheel. A seller on eBay has 2 sizes (18x10 or 22x11) of these stickers and I'm not sure which is the correct size.

Here is a picture of what I am talking about.

Here are the two links to the two sizes that the eBay seller has.

Does anyone know the correct size for this placement on the wheel? Is it 18x10 or 22x11?

18x10 Sticker Size

22x11 Sticker Size

Thanks!

Why not measure it yourself if you have the wheels? (18mm by 10mm or 22mm by 11(european measuring))

2 reasons why...

1. I'm in Manhattan at work and just realized I needed to order these, so the wheels aren't near me.

2. The wheels are at the shop and won't be ready until tomorrow when I drive over and have them mounted on the car (so I can't check tonight either).

According to the seller, the 18x10's are for the OEM wheels and the 22x11's are for the Reps. Who knows...

I guess I'll just have to wait until tomorrow to measure. I'm like a little kid....I can't wait. I need to order now and have tomorrow. Hahahaha!

Who really cares if they're not there? You really think anyone will notice? By the sounds of it you don't have a "m-car" so why would you want the stickers? To me, that's like putting "M5" on the back of a 530....just doesn't make any sense. If the wheels came with them on then I guess I don't see the big deal of keeping them on, but why go out of your way and pay to put something on your car that doesn't 'really' belong there despite there being a place you could put some stickers?

This is not really true for BMW and ///M. Several factory models have had various ///M parts over the years. A current example would be the M172 wheels that are on the 2008 550i sport package. So I wouldn't agree with you that ///M parts (and their stickers) do not belong on other models.

Good point. I stand corrected

Regardless, these wheels did not come on the car so why would someone go out of their way to put m-stickers on the wheels if they didn't come like that? I guess I'm fighting a losing battle here - I feel the same way about those who spend thousands $$ to attempt to re-produce the M5 looks on their 525/530 (badges, body kits, etc..). Ironically I have the 166 wheels but I actually removed the m stickers because I see it as the exact same as a guy putting a 'Type R' decal on their car when it clearly doesn't belong there.
