I know this probably has been asked a million times. I have a 2008 e60 with satellite radio prep. What parts do I need to retrofit for Sirius? Thanks!

to the forum!

You can find million answers and threads about it using the powerful search function on the upper right corner.

Just a quick run down, you'll need the Sat module & the bracket+screws then install is a snap then bring a thick wallet to the dealer for re-programming (also fiber lines re-arrangement) so the iDrive will see it in addition to AM, FM, WB, CD etc as an additional input source.

GL!

make sure you think its worth it first though...

i have satnav in my car and i never ever listen to sirius....i tried giving it a shot but honestly the programming isnt anything special IMO....might be a waste of time and money in the long run unless you specifically are burning to get certain programming into your car....

+1 Also the sound quality is not all that great either! My total cost was around 500.00 and I'm not sure that I would do that again. .

Thanks. Where can I find the model numbers that will work in a 2008 528i? Thanks again.
