for gloss finishes, you treat it just like paint. for matte finishes, you need to hand wash it w/ soft cloths.
what we used on this project is the best vinyl wrap on the market, its high quality Oracal 970ra - its a specific automotive vinyl. the finish is gauranteed for 7 years. once applied you dont have to worry about weather more so than any regular paint job.
the only thing is with all matte finishes you cannot wax the car...nor would you want too lol
