I emailed Jags at Singh for my 2004 530i and he replied "You can squeeze 20hp 19lbs tq from your car (maybe more... We need to read the file). We can remove the hesitation/flat spots/speed limiter, etc, etc."

Wow this sounds amazing. Where can I get this done? who?

I don't know if Jags has any travel plans to come out to the Chicago area but you can email him and ask, info@singhautosport.com.

Worse case is you'd have to remove your ECU and send it to him out here in NorCal to get it flashed and shipped back to you.

My brother and I got our tunes done on Friday.
I popped in the ecu when I got home and took the car for a spin. I was very impressed with it. The SMG definitely shifts quicker, not as fast as E46 m3 but still better.
Jags says 22hp on 545, and I would say its pretty damn close to that. Money well spent.
My brothers M3 tune is sick. Jags says they tune it to CSL specs. His car rips now. The SMG shifts are super super fast and the car pulls hard.
What's more impressive than Jags tunes...his girlfriend....lol...sorry Jags!

Glad you like it! Jags does not mess around on these tunes. We are very confident on his tune. He also tuned several C63s back east.

Don't get me wrong, I think Jags has a great product and is a fantastic person (I spoke to him many times), but smoother shifting, increasing the redline, removing the limiter and adding power can be obtained by Dinan, along with all the other companies. Dinan is conservative when it comes to power, which is why I think ESS is more along the same lines as Singh. I'm sure ESS wants to extract as much power as possible too. However, keep in mind that our engines are NA. If I had an AMG engine in my car, that would be a different story. If ESS were still $1300 and not offering such a special, I would probably do Singh for the additional $100. However, a $600 difference is quite substantial.
But only Singh has LC (launch control)
