I had my 172's refurbished three shades darker, wish had gone for darker color . but as the car is Carbon black, would look like Mafioso's.

Chrome is ........... trashy. I'm personally HIGHLY against anything that makes a BMW look like its tied to a specific ethnic background, a ghetto-hooptie, or some tricked out ricer Pontiac look alike with spinners, daytons, or a flag coming out of the back window.

Call me crazy but owning a BMW is a status symbol as well as an excellent automobile. Regardless of what one might think, owning a BMW in many cases means you have achieved something good in your life. Its like a tattoo that says "yeah baby, shag me".
first, you may want to seek some professional help with your stereotyping issues

second, although i agree with your description of a bmw as a status symbol i have to say i dont know many people of that status that have a tattoo with the the words "yeah baby, shag me"...

im not sure what others may think on this forum but your comments were both weird and concerning

It would be good for a laugh but the joke would soon wear off

If you love um and want um then do it.....you could always have them painted or powder coated later on when you're all blinged out

Not a fan of that at all to be honest. Some wheels look good in chrome, but OEM BMW wheels aren't one of them IMO.
