Finally getting around to installing my new smoked LED sidemarkers from Trinity (Thanks Joe!)

I seem to remember that brown is the colour of the ground wire for BMW. Is this correct? If so, I splice the black wire from the new sidemarker to brown on the car, and red on the light to purple/black on the car?

should be about a 3 minute install once I confirm which colours to connecct

thanks, I finished this simple mod yesterday! Looks good, subtle difference, but much cleaner than the egg yolk looking OEM. Interesting though, when I opened the box they really did not look all that smoked and I thought they were going to be too light, but now that they are on they are just dark enough for my ti-silver car. any darker would be too much in my opinion.

I took pics, I'll post on the weekend.

Not sure how to edit the topic details, but here are some pics. I think it is a nice, subtle improvement that adds to the classiness of the e60!!

I really like the look of my smoked LED sidemarkers, the only thing I wished is that they have the rubber gasket like the oem ones
