I got my smoked led sidemarkers from Trinity and I love em! Yeah, I too tried to get mine replaced under warranty but no luck on that! Trinityautosport.com

The cold check will only disable the flashing at startup, but they will still flicker once every few minutes (for a split second) after the car has been started for a while, right?...or am I wrong?

I suppose my answer was incomplete. The flickering after start up is most likely the warm check. Two different aftermarket sides I have tried only needed to code out cold check to disable flickering at start up. Though I have to say, I only code out my cold check, and my sides never flicker period (without needing to code out warm check).

Anyway, if for whatever reason your's are flashing after start up, then code out warm check.

How do you do this? Simon, is this a code option? Also, does anyone know where to buy oem side markers outside of the dealer (mine are showing some yellowish weathering also). Dealer quoted $45 a piece, which isn't all that expensive I guess.
