Hi all,
I put these beautiful 19" staggered #166s on my 530i (non-sport suspension).
The problem is that when I look at the rear wheel, it looks tiny (the front wheel looks good). This is a 19/275/30 tire, and I expected it to look bigger than the old OEM 17" that it replaced. As you all probably know, the total diameter of the tire (with the low profiles) is not much different, but the wheel size is.
I think that the problem is that my car sits up to high with the non-sport suspension, which makes the rear wheels look smaller. It is hard to see in the pictures due to the contrast with the Monaco Blue color, but I think that it is clear enough.
Should I lower the car to remove the spacing from the non-sport suspension? How much? Eibach or some other spring? Should I consider other modifications or are the springs enough?
I love finding new things to do with this car to make it more and more beautiful (even though the car is leased).

I wouldn't do it, but, on the other hand, it should not hurt if done properly. I doubt you would end up with a warranty issue. And, your last sentence says alot. My answer for you is yes.

Lower it. Use H&R Racing springs or Eibach Sportline springs.

Did they help the look? A little or a lot?

What about the 10 mm spacers that you have?
Did they help the look? A little or a lot?

I don't have any pictures of my rear at the moment. But, there will be quite a lot soon after the Norcal Meet this coming weekend.

I would go with Eibach for the fact that they lower the front & back 1.2 ( a more level look).
I will also be putting on the 10 mm spacers, I like the look it gave Jiio' 545i.
