Lowered my car on coilovers and now have negative chamber. Got it aligned but its still -1.02 in front and -2.22 in rear. Should I buy a camber kit to bring it down? Don't want my brand new tires burned on the inside after 10k miles. Or should I raise it a little and get it realigned. How much more can I adjust the camber on a 2004 530i?

Thanks

Why buy a camber kit? The numbers you listed are spec for BMWs. Now you CAN get teh alignment shop to dial out as much as possible to help with rear tire wear. I went from -2.1 to -0.8 when I requested them to dial it out - no camber kit needed.

At -0.8 degrees of camber there is more than enough performance for street driving. However, at $350 each for rear tires, replacing them every 3-4 months is just stupid budget wise.

Now when you say "dial it out" what exactly are you talking about? The reason why I'm asking is I'm about to lower mine and I was wondering the same exact thing as the OP. do I just tell the BMW techs to dial it out or do I need additional parts to get it that way? Thanks for your help!!!

Just tell them you'd like to reduce the negative camber from whatever it currently is, usually -2.0, to -0.8 / -1.0.
There is some adjustability without having to buy a camber kit if the techs know what they are doing.
