It wouldn't be any problem to install this on your car since it's the same shortshifterkit that fits on my E39 from -02. It's all the same linkage on all the models from E39 to E60/E61.
It's a very good mod and I will get it on my car as soon as the latest payment from work gets in.

I didn't order the short shifter yet, but got the MSport shifter knob today.
How do you remove the original? Just pull? I tried, but it sits hard!
