Nice work man, its very hard to do. I tried it 1st and had no patience for it. It also began to peel after a couple car washes so I just broke down and got the real thing.

I bought that same vinyl from that guy that sells rolls for 20 bucks. It was worth a shot for me, but in the end, I did not have the patience. IMO, the stuff is very hard to work with. This was the most frustrating job I have done on my car to date. In the end, I gave up and went with OEM shadowline. Some people have said it was easy. It's not....and it's very time consuming. Anyway, yours came out nice. Glad it worked for you!
Was it hard to take out the trims? How much did it cost you for the shadowline trim? Planning to go that route.

That's what I'm afraid of .. I'm not sure how long it's gonna last, I guess it's a good thing it's not expensive.

Patience is definitely the key .. I sat there trying to get all possible bubbles and creases out.
The trim itself is not hard to take off .. There's a DIY for it on here and the vinyl cost me $20.

i bought the same and installed it
the bend at the rear is a real bitch to do
:l
at first i bought the matte black but it looked too much like weather stripping to me
so i bought the glossy vinyl now and going to install that pretty soon on top of the matte
...removing it isnt fun
so its easier to just put it over it
