Took me about 3 hrs to do in a span of 2 days since it's freezing outside. I wanted to try the vinyl and see how it looks since it wasn't expensive and if I decide to do the real thing at least I know how to remove the trim now. This is an alternative to those who don't want to spend $200-$300 on the trim, the vinyl itself cost $20. It definitely looks better than those stained chrome ones I had.

Looking @ these pics makes me miss my rims .. WINTER

I bought that same vinyl from that guy that sells rolls for 20 bucks. It was worth a shot for me, but in the end, I did not have the patience. IMO, the stuff is very hard to work with. This was the most frustrating job I have done on my car to date. In the end, I gave up and went with OEM shadowline. Some people have said it was easy. It's not....and it's very time consuming. Anyway, yours came out nice. Glad it worked for you!

I had trouble with it in the beginning but once I got the hang of it, it was smooth sailing after that, except when my son kept tryin to grab the trim from me.. Lol ... Like you mentioned, you do have to be patient with it. The good thing about working with it, is that it's very stretchy and you can manipulate it. I'm just not sure how long it will last.
