So yeah guys I finally did the mod, I know most of you are gonna be like "about time" so ITS DONE!! 
Total cost was about $35 The car definitely looks better, I'm no longer "screaming for shadowline"
Got the vinyl from shadowlinetrim.com and Robert from SparrowTek.com took care of the install.

HUGE difference! looks so much cleaner and more aggressive, glad i could do the honors, that chrome trim was hideous
