Where can I buy the vinyl tape to do the shadowline trim. I hear that it is supposed to be stickier than electric tape?

Senza -

Do the Shadow Line Trim from Gary @ BMW Newport. This is most definitley the way to go

Your car is way too nice to use shotcuts.

Its an easy mod to install - and it is a real transformation.

I used the shadowline vinyl over the chrome as well. Put it on last year and still looks like new and is holding up perfectly through 1.5 winters. Can't beat it for ~$20!

For those interested I got it from this dude on ebay:

I put mine on in Summer of 07 and its on there perfect. Its not like electrical tape its 2 inches wide and you cut and fold it depending on where it is.

and Unless I tell people no one would ever even notice thats its vinyl overlay

Buy from Garry. He is fast, pro, and great pricing. Make sure to mention E60.net.

I just bought this for $19.95. What the hell right? Might as well give it a shot if you say it has held up through 2 damn years already. At that rate I could just replace it after 2 years for another 20 bucks. =p A PENNY SAVED IS A PENNY EARNED SIRS.
