My Ride: 2006 BMW 525I/TITANIUM SILVER METALLIC/GREY LEATHER INTERIOR/EURO RED REFLECTORS/20% TINT/EURO STICKER/BMW CCA STICKER
I am debating whether or not to have my super sexy chrome trim painted gloss black or to just get the shadowline trim. I just dont want to spend 500 on trim when I can just paint my existing trim for half. Anyone know how much from Garry Romani? Im going to get some quotes to get it painted...I jst hope they can put it back on right and what not (is it on by double sided tape or...?). Just need some feedback.

Got a set from Garry for $223, the High Gloss probably will run twice as much.

I was gonna go High Gloss but that would also require to swap the vertical plastic black piece in the middle where the front & rear window meet (also the smaller vertical bar by the small triangular glass on the rear window) to make it proper like the M5 so additional cost & I think swapping those vertical sections involve a lot of things.

Oh I see. Before I had my euro stickers....I had high gloss vinyl put over the orange just till they came in. That may work on the middle part just so it matches the trim. Its very high quality and costs like 10 bucks. They place it perfectly and it never comes off. Ill take some pictures though when I do all this.

I actually bought the vinyl tape that goes over the trip. It looks just like the replacement trim that everybody has but only cost about $20 bucks... and put it over my existing.

you dont need to paint it... just put the black vinyl right on top of the chrome....
