Self made ram air

i have been thinking about doing this for sometime now........ what i will be doing is running a 3'' flexible pipe clamping it on the airbox and the running the flex pipe through the original pathway and attaching a PVC angle, cut the same way you have! what do you think? that ways its completely sealed with the ram air affect

That's cool I looked into it also, you will have to remove the front section of the intake box, which I didn't want to do due to my extended warranty may be voided if a problem arises it will be more work to reinstall!. Also the accordion type flexible pipe causes a lot of turbulence don't really know if that may have any effect but I've seen times where replacing something similar in a stock setup with smooth pipe was the better option. Again it may not make a difference, I'm not an expert. Post up your setup I'f you end up doing it. Good luck!
