333 ---> 362 ... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
DMS are reputable - my sense is that these gains are legitimate. Based on some dyno reports posted a little while ago there were a good few HP gained just by taking out the secondary filter that is added to US models - the 545 probably has quite a bit to give. Not sure where you're located, DMS also have an operation in the US (it's in Illinois).

ONLY option?
I got a DMS remap for my 545 ... not tested (on my car at least), but they claim 333hp (UK) to 362hp. I can confirm it's quicker... all for sub GBP1k, on my drive, done in under 2 hours, and I've proven that it's undetectable by stealer!
Technically, that's only 29 hp and hope that could be dyno(ed). The original poster requested 30 hp gain?

Anyone with any doubt about the legitimacy of these guys (DMS) need only read this thread.

Interesting... I wonder though if the DMS results are specific to the diesel E60's?? My understanding is that BMW leaves very little additional HP to be gained by mods like this for gas engines. Anyone here experienced with a DMS re-map on a non-diesel 545i?

JayEll had his 545i remapped - DMS reckon it adds about 30hp and also improves the torque curve.

Here is summary of several chip-tuner specs. That was as about 3-4 months ago and I have not updated with any new inputs/data

That was my understanding as well. Starting with, I think, the E39 540 and 530, Dinan conceded that it could not get HP gains simply from a remap. Does anyone know what Dinan says about the E60?

From looking at Dinan's website I thought that was only with the E39 M5? Their remap did make some changes (torque etc), just no specific gain on HP.
