I'm with Phil on this one. I've heard of people having great success with Sea foam, but I've also read a couple horror stories. I'm VERY hesitant to try it as a result
i was hesitant also but i got sick of the rough idle.. I read about it last night and went for it.. I did exactly what it said and nothing went wrong.. The way i put it in the intake was through a vacuum hole in the intake behind the mass air flow sensor.. after the little rought idle and smoke it ran so smooth i didnt feel the engine runnung from inside the car.. I also put half the can in the tank..I recommend doing it..I also changed the plugs last month.. next month i am doing the oil treatment and change.

I am seriously considering doing the seafoam treatment. Can someone please direct me to best vaccum tube to put this stuff into?

I have an 04 530i with 56,000 miles and I am having a rough idle that is making me crazy.
