You want ideas?

Come out to our next meet and you can see everyone's car. There are PLENTY of people driving out from OC. The last meet was in OC so this time its closer to LA for the benefit of some of the other members... so its a little drive for you but I think you should come.

I just purchased a 2005 BMW 545i. The car has 33,000 miles on it and cost me a little under 35000. Previously owned by a Japanese family (they kept it mint!) (PIX COMING SOON). I wanted to fix it up so that it would have a more edgier look.

Any suggestions on what to do?

Brakes?
Body Kits?
Rims?

thanks!

Congrad!! Sounds like a sweet deal you got!!

Is this relevant? If they had been white folks, would you have said "previously owned by a white family."?

Was there an implication that Japanese people keep their cars cleaner than most?

Aside from busting your chops, welcome aboard!

Also try to always stick with BMW OEM parts and rims! They are some fine 3rd party rims company out there, but I had a bad experience with the rims, and I could NEVER get them balanced right!! So I got rid of them and went back with BMW OEM and I am very happy with the 18 inch 71s, and now the 19 i66s I have. They both ride BMW smooth!!

Welcome to the forum!

Go to one of the SoCal meets (check out the Meet & Greet Discussion subforum for latest events) and you'll change your name to dubleDIZZY cause your head will be spinning with all the aftermarket options available for your car.
