SB Installed !!!
#1
Well thanks you guys for all the help.
I installed the SB today and took it for a test drive. WOW!!! is all I can say.
After reading what was posted in here about the SB, I was scepticle about it.
However, this is my 2 cents after driving with it for just a very short time.
Instalation: very easy, one 5mm hex screw and the screw cap on the accelerator peddle. Plug and Play.
I recieved NO error messages and did perform a trany reset before I pluged it in.
I did not cut the carpet where the harness comes out, but left the SB cable right next to the peddle for ease of removal (no one will see it anyways).
I'm not a licenced mechanic or anything, and the install took 5 min tops.
Driving with the SB installed : you just have to drive with a "light foot" that is all.
No problems with queueing in heavy traffic, stop lights or anything.
However, when you want to unleash the beast, just a simple push of the excelorator (not stomping it to the floorboard) and the power is there.
+1 for this mod
and thanks again for help gang

I heard that the 6 cylinder cars don't get much of a "boost" from the SB. I had my car chipped and didn't notice any difference at all. Maybe the SB is different.
Honestly why does anyone doubt this at this point? Go back and read all the threads with satisfied people even with 6's! There are MANY threads about this. Happy reading...you'll see what I mean.
