and I'd ask you since you look have experience with rims.

I'm about to order the M5 F10 rims
they are :
8.5x20 front
9.5x20 rear
all with 18 offset
my car is 04 525i

What do you think

Hey Essa,

Those are pretty fresh,
Looks like a pretty easy setup, won't rub, and should look fair. Be cautious about anything closer to 15 offset in the range of 9-10" wheels as they will most likely rub on your fenders and such, especially with a lower ride height. Keep in mind that tires also play a huge roll. jk, role. Those "curb lips" are a hassle, and eventually you'll learn to park far from curbs anyway so don't buy those kinds, and I think a perfect tire combo for you would be F- 235/30/20 R- 265/25/20 If you do consider lowering the car a bit on sport springs or whatnot, you can always just camber in a bit (remember to set toe at 0 degrees) to deter rubbing at those more aggressive offsets. Or just roll the fenders...

Like I said, you've got a pretty well balanced spec sheet, It would be nice to see how everything comes together, so don't be afraid to post here (:

Disclaimer- All suggestions here are IAW with Form>Function and highly biased towards looks rather than comfort! (;

I love this! Is your front bumper OEM or rep?

Hey Justin,
It is an Umnitza Mtech front bumper. It will not look like an M5 because the M5 doesn't have fog light capability, while Mtech does! I also like the "lip" grooves on the mtech that the M5 doesnt have. Talk to Tim at Umnitza.com

Great looking car. I just purchased a set F10 M5 style wheels in 19x8.5 F/R yet I do not plan on lowering it with springs but that could change.

Congrats.

Humm I got a mtech bumper from Tim at umnitza and mine doesn't look like yours. I was told the type you have is the 550i oem sport type. Mine doesn't have the nice grooves by the lower tips from the sides. I have the mesh fog light grills and the total lower mesh in the mouth. I wanted the one you have but Tim kinda led me to the mtech. So what's the real name for the types of fronts.. I'm from Seattle but the Navy brought me to Jacksonville Florida.

Jet Black 07 550i
Concave chrome 7 series 19 inch staggered
Mtech front bumper (umnitza.com)
Upgrade 10w halos (trinity.com)
Smoked side markers (trinity. Com)
Retro shift knob 2014 BMW joystick illuminated (www.bimmian.com)

There is the OEM MTech, OEM M5 front bumper, the rep. MTech that Umnitza sells, and the rep M5Tech that Umnitza and others sell.

Unfortunately, a lot of users use the word mtech (even for the M5 versions) very loosely which adds to the confusion.

My car thread with the OEM MTech...
