I'm thinking about buying the RPI scoop and the BMC filter. I heard someone say previously that it changes the sound a little bit. Can someone elaborate on this?

Thanks,
Dan

None.

Well, the scoop won't change sound but the airfilter will.

that's what im sayin... the scoop is a passive piece of plastic that just diverts air into the airbox at speed. how could it change sound?

the filter, i could see a little bit, because it actually changes something.

Slight sound change when you get rid of the charcoal filter, but the scoop and filter don't change it. And, yes, get rid of the charcoal filter - it's pretty useless.

The only sound you will hear is the little guy in your head congratulating you a job well done!
