RPi Scoop part II

The RPi scoop is a very simple design, yet yielded pretty significant performance. I do feel that rush! However, can that be taken to another level by making the scoop even bigger? What kind of result will that yield?

I think there was a pic of a gigantic scoop installed on an E60 in the private classified section awhile back.

Anyway, if the scoop design was too large, how stable will it be with the wind blowing against it at 70 MPH+. I also think it does block some airflow going into the radiator if the size was too large.

u cna possible do a double duct intake system and run two scoops!!! Many of us did it on the 545i back when we had it. inline 6 is a little tight but u can work it work somehow.

AFE also makes a sealed airbox for the n54. I wonder how that would work in conjunction with the scoops. Also, do scoops drive in more water when it is raining?

Looks like RPi engineers had that in mind. If you look at it, the bottom has open slot to channel rain down and not in.

Covering half your radiator especially in the hot summer is asking for trouble.
