My Ride: 2009 535XI
It essentially deflects more air into your air intake increasing hp. I personally do not have one but from what ive heard theyre great! Plus the faster you go the more power the scoops add, so i guess its just an excuse to go faster...

So it does help and it's also the only CAI or Ram Air Intake I have seen for our cars with proven gains in power.
