Hey everyone,

I called up RP today, apparently they're still working on the scoops for the 545i.
So I was wondering, If I buy my scoops & filter from trinity, does that mean I'll have to buy new scoops again when the updated one comes out?
or is there some kind of buy back program?

I believe Trinity is sold out of the scoops. We have put them on hold while we make the updated version. We are also exploring the idea of mounting them differently. Everything is still in the early stages as we can only speculate until I confirm the numbers on the dyno.

Got it, thanks for the quick update!
I'm getting excited to order these once they're done.

Any idea's on a target HP gain?

We still need a 545i to come in for dynoing. Anyone with a SMG or 6speed available in LA? BTW, it's a FREE dyno. If so, send me a PM. Thanks.

I wont be happy until it gets atleast 5whp the way I dyno it. The way AFE or someone else tests it? probably 7-10whp. haha. One of the problems we have is that we arent able to keep the test cars long. We are limited to the amount of time we can keep the cars for r&d. Stay tuned though and thanks for being patient guys. In the meantime, Joe T will be happy to help any of you who have questions. I was told I should spend more time doing r&d and less time on the forums making fun of people who suck in hot air. lol
