You shouldnt have a problem with the heat and the scoop as RPI has stated

i just ordered mine and im really looking forward to getting it

I think you guys are missing Pointerman's question. He's worried that the scoop is interfering with air that's supposed to hit the radiator, not that it's deflecting hot air into the intake.

Or maybe it's me that's missing the bus.

no you're right. and i'm telling him there's nothing he should worry about the surface area on the radiator is huge. it extends from the bottom of the bumper all the way to the grills. don't worry about it

There is PLENTY of airflow going into the radiator, so the small amount being diverted by the RPI Scoop will be virtually unnoticeable!
