Not trying to ruffle any feathers......I was just making an observation.
I would pay $599....but not any more.

who said you were trying to ruffle feathers? you said that it seemed like a high price without considering how it came into existence in the first place

if you can get it for $600 for your car then youd be a lucky man

In reading through this thread everyone is recommending RPI exhaust. I want to do a quad set up on my 550. RPI does not make a quad set up. Is there any recommendations on a quad set up that will not drone or very little drone and will not lose horsepower?

Drive a 550 with the RPI exhaust. I have. There is a big difference from OEM exhaust, once you drive RPI exhaust for the 550, you'll forget all about quads. But if you do want quads, I love DK's setup with the cherry bomb mufflers. You can hear that ride long before you see it.

Hope this helps..

I had the magna-slow on my 545... paid for it new, paid for the install.
then...

RPI came out with one for my car so I bought it, And I'm MUCH happier with the RPI.

So.. if you wanted to take away something from the post here,

Save your money as it were and just get the RPI now.

It has a tighter sound then the Magna-slow and better performance.
