My Ride: E60 530i (non sport)...an all stock virgin, but not for long ;)
Sounds like a leak. When I got my RPI for my 2005 530i they looked at the clams and threw them away. Instead they welded the cat-back system. This was back in Feb of this year. Sounds good, no problems so far.
