So the clamps have changed, did you still need the Permantex heat goop like the online instructions show to hook things up? I haven't even opened my box yet.

just a few install tips for you guys waiting to put your system's on:
1. cut the factory exhaust directly in-front of the hanger (right after the resonator). leaving the hanger attached/welded to the factory muffler side piping.
(don't worry, the RPI system is very light so you don't need this hanger.
2. go to pepboys and buy (2) rubber exhaust hangers.....part #511187 (they are $3.99 each)
(these replace the hanger by the tire/suspension on the subframe & also the one on the very rear which you will relocate to the right side of the tips
3. buy a few very small screw-type hose clamps (old school exhaust trick). because if you cut is not dead perfect, you will have to use these to make the side-to-side adjustments of the tips. trust me this takes longer than the rest of the install by far if you want it perfect!
4. if you cut the stock exhaust exactly next to the factory hanger like i said, you will have the length set perfect. not too far out/not too far in. i like where my exhaust ended up but everyone has there own preference. then it's all about the side-to-side adjustment with the hose clamps which you will most likely definatly need to do. (any muffler/exhaust shop knows this trick and should stock the clamps and help you out)
